March 8, 2007 Boston - reviews

The Bicycle Michael appeared tonight before "Fiesta" while Jem changed a reed on his sax. I know one or two of you need to know these things. The set was otherwise unchanged from Chicago.

It was a great show tonight. Spent the whole time in the front row right in front of Spider (Black scally cap, red street dogs shirt, gray sweatshirt) The only complaint is the price of the merchandise. I desperately want to spring for something but 30 dollars for a tshirt after spending so much to see all 4 shows might be a no-go.

merchandise prices are very expensive, but bills have to be paid

How big was the crowd? I'm still kicking myself for not going, though I will be content with the three in a row I'm seeing beginning this evening...

Good article in the Boston Herlad today regarding the local scene around this time of year... Not sure how to upload it onto here.

Work is going by extra slow knowing I'll be seeing the Pogues this weekend...

Lucky you!! You have four kids and get to do three shows, I have one
and can only do one. I am going tomorrow night, doing pregame at
Boston Beerworks, hope I run into you.

Just wondering how full this show was, being it wasn't sold out and was the
last one added.

I strongly recommend An Tua Nua for the pre-party.
The disco starts at 10 p.m. so maybe beerworks will work better post show.
