Are you "Arms Aloft" in Aberdeen?

Strummer rules...

The only arms aloft here in Aberdeen, South Dakota are used for hunting with pheasant being the most popular game bird. That is why I choose to raise my family here in this safe cultural void until my girls go off to college when my wife and I can move to a city with live music, theater, art museums and gourmet food... really not much thought in selecting my handle. I am a Clash/Mescaleros fan and I never get tired of hearing "Brand New Cadillac" performed by either band and the handle just popped in my head.

Really great pics, Benji! Can we add some of them to the Medusa gallery? (giving you the proper credit, of course!)

I think they all look great. I mean the pics, the band, and their clothes. And Shane looks more healthy than last year.
What kind of fuckery is this?

Fabulous photos!

I see Darryl is playing a Gibson EB-O these days...a new addition to the arsenal? Cool bass.

Never cared much for Gibson basses myself. Sound great but don't fit my hands as well as my trusty Rick.

The EB appeared at the soundcheck on Day 2 in Chicago, where Darryl bought it, and it has been in the show ever since. I completely forgot that I would be playing it in "Star Of The County Down" and the first time I played the thing was later that day in the show! Luckily, the panic was shortlived, as my own first bass, back in 1973, was an Ibanez EB copy, so the shorter neck was less of a surprise than it might otherwise have been.

It's a lovely warm bass, not as "pokey" as Darryl's Fender P but it has great character, which compensates.
