Old age?! I'm taking that personally 'cause my guess is we're from the same era. Or I'm older. But I'd blame it on the high that is the post-Pogues concert euphoria. 8)

Quite right. It is the euphoria that made me even question my age.

I was down in Tyler,TX on business last month and wanted to get to the Continental Club in Austin for the True Believers reunion shows but never made it. Did you talk to anyone who saw the shows?

I have seen Jon Dee Graham several times but never Alejandro Escovedo.

I know I'm a day late and a dollar short, but I finally was able to see the Pogues live here in Chicago...I believe I saw the second show...bah who remembers those kind of details!

My wife came along, and while she doesn't mind listening to your music when I play it (which I do...a lot) she enjoyed the show, and enjoyed the fact that I enjoyed it so much.

It was a great show. Awesome. Wonderful.

And now I can cross "Catch The Pogues in concert" off of my list of things to do before I die.

Unfortunately, I now have to add "Catch The Pogues in concert AGAIN"
