Dublin gig

Post Mon Dec 25, 2006 1:49 am

just back from Dublin. (no flight troubles both ways)
great gig!
(I was a bit doubtful after some problems in the 2nd song and ) but then the the band was great! Shane... at least still copes fairly well maybe not with the finest verbalising quality ;-)

great gig, but truly not the best pogues concert ever (I think in the the late 80s there have been better ones)

PS: when from the 8000 only max. 10% want to see the radiators, it would maybe be better to omit the supporting act.

Only if it was the Saw Doctors. The Radiators were excellent.

Why would you want to stand there for an hour waiting with no support act? If you dont want to watch the support act let the 10 percent that do want to watch them watch them whilst you wait outside.

I heartily second that emotion. I thought they deserved a better crowd, but I enjoyed them anyway.

A great show, and the first time I saw 'em live as well.

Freezing cold night, but thousands of very pissed up fans kept the place warm. They played pretty much everything you could possibly want from 'em as well...

Flew from the Uk to see this, and didn't leave feeling dissapointed.

Just got back home late late last night.

Wonderful gig, ditto to Niall's statement nice to meet Fintan, Soulfinger, Soulfinger the sequel, Johan, John and....I hope I'm not forgetting anyone!!!

All my photos are too blurry sorry, I just gave up and danced all night instead. Sometime swollen feet are just as good as photos to remember a gig!

Watching Straight To Hell today.

Holidays, and The Pogues across the pond....I'm jealous. I'm sure you had a blast. Maybe next year for us.
Happy New Year :)
