Dear Mr. Chevron,
That was, without doubt, the best, best gig I have ever been at. I loved every single second of it, from the first strains of Trouble Pilgrim to the last note of Fiesta. What a night![]()

The Radiators were in top form and for me Hinterland, Huguenot and Television Screen, which was superb, were the highlights but every note of every song was on fire.
The Pogues, and Shane in particular, were in excellent form. As has been siad before, to hear Kitty live was a real treat. Again, every song was spot on but for me Kitty, Rainy night and of Course Fairytale were the hightlights. But the real belter was Thousands which was unreal.
To play 2 gigs in the one night is good going. To play 2 superb gigs boarders on the superhuman. You are indeed a Legend and I thank you sincerly for all you do for all of us.
Thanks,
Bud.
Many thanks Bud. My tour cold, held in abeyance (thanks to Solpadeine, early nights and B12 injections) finally broke into fever about half way through the Pogues set. I made a manful last ditch to summon my energy reserves for "Thousands" and then gave up the ghost. By the time Spider was playing his feedback guitar on "Fiesta" I was already in a fast car back to the hotel. As Shane said about Falling From Grace, "don't try this at home".
