Yes Philip you are right-wow, that would almost be too much. Hope to see you in the States again someday.

Thanks, Merry Christmas, Take Care..

hello there! my names jen and i'm new to the forum - firstly MERRY CHRISTMAS! i would just like to say i was at the gig on the 18th, first time i've seen the pogues and it was awesome! one of the best gigs ive been to! i apologise for my lateness but my mums always on here on the forum! :p
i got right to the front which was brilliant! but my arm is in cast as i fractured it a little while ago so couldn't stay at the front for long. The support band were amazing too, as a violinist and a cellist i love to see those in a live band!

Both my mum and dad were at the gig as well, but they were upstairs, as they got their tickets later, but they loved it.

I will definately be making pogues gigs a regular thing! i had a really good time, it was quite surreal to be seeing them live.

Thankyou for an enjoyable evening and merry christmas!

My older sister made me into a Pogues fan when she showed me the video for "Fairytale of New York" when I was 12. Never got to catch them live, geography and economy conspiring to make it so, until this year.
I flew all the way North from Galicia for the gig, only to be caught at the return trip in the Heathrow Fog Collapse, which forced me to gallivant across half of England to get a plane back to Spain, then a 1000-mile car ride back home for Christmas Eve.

You know what...?

I'd do it all again, from start to finish, for just the chance to be at a gig like this.

The band were superb, the crowd (A few exceptions aside, as is unavoidable) were great, the gig was all I ever expected from a Pogues live show and more. The setlist was perfect, the encores brilliant. I had a sore throat and an achy body for days afterwards.

To any of the Pogues who read the forums, and to everyone who was there,

Thank you all.
