I was just reading through the earlier posts and its great how things fall into place.
Thats why i missed the tube ! The beer in the mixer !
I forgot Kitty and Auld Triangle til I was reminded !
Thats why i had a sore throat !
Thousands WAS excellent , and Young Ned was a highlight for me aswell.
I didnt notice anything wrong with the sound at the start . Streams of Whiskey sounded great at the front towards the right.
The sound did sound funny to me towards the end when i lost me friends and went to the back . First encore Sally Mac i think ( i couldnt make out what it was but it might have been where i was standing )

On the whole maybe the best one out of ten twenty Pogues gigs ive been to apart from missing my trains but you know , all the best nights end with something going wrong ! It wasnt to bad !

If you don't get a ticket I will have at least 1 spare on the night if you make it over.

And as for the pissed up skinhead with tattoos, who was down the front (slightly to the left). You are a right cunt, you were hitting people over the head with your bottles, falling over every five seconds... in the end I gave up trying to pick you and just trod on your bollocks in an attempt to prevent you from breeding. You and all the other tossers who cannot handle your drink should stick to your chav nightclubs throughout little Britain. Don't get me wrong, I like a good mosh pit as much as the next saddo, but there are limits.

Just found a pic of the aforementioned skinhead gentleman here! (bottom left of photo).

I was in this area of the pit too and he and his mates were a right royal pain in the arse!

Erm... just to clarify, 'twasn't me that said all that, 'twas Beisty. Don't want to take undue credit. Nice pic though, Cornish. 8)

yeah, that was the prick! I ended up near him and his mates most of the gig. I cannot see myself in that photo though, must have been taking a piss.
