You don't get to be the Clash's spinmeister of choice for all those years and not learn something about crowd control!

Yeah, I didn't realise at the time it was Scratchy. I've seen Gogol Bordello a few times this year and he's been the main man for their shows

One word for the Brixton gig last night - superb.

1000 times better than Manchester. For a start Shane was in fine form and looked like a different bloke to the one i'd seen 24 hours earlier. It was like he had something to prove. Not that he, or anyone else, has mind.

A day that started hungover on a train drinking tea at 11am and ended at 3.30am in Misswalshys Kitchen! It wont be forgot in a hurry!!

Mad, had a great time. The gig was so good. Was a great feeling to share it with a pogues fan,.. Seeing the look on Marks face when certain tracks came on was priceless. I wish I could persuade you to come down for another gig.

I was on the vodka back at the house with my mate and mark was drinking some odd odd odd bitter!

Northerners! ;)

Ps. I didn't win owt on the scratch card!

If I didn’t have the small matter of work getting in the way today and tomorrow I’d have been there for the other 2 gigs to! I felt a bit deflated after Manchester so was glad Sunday night turned out the way it did.

The most enjoyable Pogues gig i've been to in terms of build up and stuff and as you say it made it all the better being there with other Pogues fans

Oh and I won £2

Excellntae Noel . Thank you for that I will have a look now.
I was just reading through the earlier posts and its great how things fall into place.
Thats why i missed the tube ! The beer in the mixer !
I forgot Kitty and Auld Triangle til I was reminded !
Thats why i had a sore throat !
Thousands WAS excellent , and Young Ned was a highlight for me aswell.
I didnt notice anything wrong with the sound at the start . Streams of Whiskey sounded great at the front towards the right.
The sound did sound funny to me towards the end when i lost me friends and went to the back . First encore Sally Mac i think ( i couldnt make out what it was but it might have been where i was standing )

On the whole maybe the best one out of ten twenty Pogues gigs ive been to apart from missing my trains but you know , all the best nights end with something going wrong ! It wasnt to bad !
