Thanks so much to the band for another great gig! 8)

Thought Shane was on really sparky form last night. Briliant to hear Kitty, and a real surprise to get Poor Paddy too. And Thousands was a real highlight, Philip was in tremendous form.

The only slight problem was the sound at the NIA. The balance seemed all wrong somehow, not up to the usual standard. It may have been partly where we were sitting, though I was talking after to someone who'd been standing, and they said the same.

And many thanks to David our driver. Hope you enjoyed it too. 8) :)

Hi all

New to this forum, been a pogues fan for 21 years now though, last saw them 21 years ago too... Birmingham NIA gig was excellent, worth the long drive to and fro from Devon. What can I say - absolute class from start to finish. Its motivated me to rebuy the early albums on CD having heard Kitty / Auld Triangle etc again.

Nice one Philip and the boy, congrats to to Ella on her great rendition of Fairytale with Shane. Jem - you must be a very proud man and I am sure that Kirsty would be well chuffed too.

Thanks again Philip and the boys.

For the love of Baby Jesus, you MUST bring "Waxie's" to Boston.

I was seated, so I was too far away to see, but did Shane's bottle of wine? whiskey? water? smash when he smacked it with the beer tray?

all in all an amazing set - I was pleased to hear the Auld Triangle too :D next time I'm gonna cross my fingers for waltzing matilda...

F@#k!!!

Philip, you just have to play that instead of Waxies Dargle at Brixton on Sunday night. That was the song that first got me into the Pogues.

(If there was a begging emoticon, it would be displayed here)
