Are you having a laugh? The gig was fantastic!!!

The band sounded amazing and Shane was on top form.

If you want proffessional go and watch Ronan Keating. But if you want passion, exitement and some of the best lyrics ever written stick with the boys from the county hell.

Thanks lads you were sensational.

Unbelievable

I can't believe how anyone could have been to that gig and not been as utterly spellbound by the musicaltalent on show as I have.

I've been to see The Pogues many times over the last 16 years, and that was quite possibly the best I have seen them.

The Saw Doctors were great too, and it was nice to see them playing the old traditional stuff, rather than the dire music they have been producing since 1995.

As for The Pogues. I just hope and pray that they keep on doing these mini tours.

I had been looking forward to it for a very long time, and i most certainly was not disappointed. If anything they just proved to me even more why I believe they are the greatest band I have ever seen.

Personally I thought Shane was in pretty good form. If anyone has followed his career they would have seen him in far worse states. I heard that he wasn't feeling well, and was suffereing form a cold/flu. So maybe you need to give him a bit of slack. Every time he came of stage (I had a good view of this) he wasn't downing a bottle of vodka or worse! He was recovering his energy to go in. Its hard to turn the clock back, and invariably years of excess will take its toll. The band were trully superb. LOVED IT! 8)

went to the gig thought it wasn,t as good as the last reunion or when he played with the popes in march but it was still great the only gripe i have is why couldn,t they play 2 nights at the academy /apollo as the venue is shite for the pogues type of music
