FTB did great. But I'm very biased cause I'm married to one of them. But it was such a perfect night, I couldn't have been prouder. It was the biggest deal to all of them to open that show and it just couldn't have gone better. And the sound is so amazing at the Fillmore, it's great to see them in a club of that stature. And thanks to whoever posted those pictures, they are great!

Sara -- please do whatever you can to get your husband and his band to Washington D.C. .....please! They can stay in my basement if need be. It has a few beds. And I will supply beer. Thanks! 8)

well, if you are gonna supply the beer

Honestly, I've been kinda buggin him to go on tour for a while now, but it's hard for them to get all their shit together and they have jobs and kids, etc. Hopefully it will happen sometime next year.

Thanks for that. It made my day!

Least I could do. FTBs are great road music, and I often put them on -- I mean all three cds -- for long drives in Virginia.

So is Ollin unsigned at the moment? The only thing I can come up with is their myspace.

Don't know if they have a deal going or not. The CD I bought from the band at The Fillmore offers no clues. However, if you are seriously interested in contacting the band on a business nature, they gave me a card with the appropriate phone numbers. Not a fan chat line.

No bother, I think another Medusan is on the case from LA.
Thanks!

I think that was the fifth time I've seen The Shack Shakers. Great shots DzM, and good to see that Josh (Colonel JD) has put on a little weight...must be the beard. They really didn't get into too much of their crazy carny/outrageous theatrics. Don't tell me they've gone "pro."
Howdy Steve...say hello to Trudy.

Hey D! Hi to Mrs D, as well. You mean to tell me that the L.S.S. get even more worked up?! They were definitely one of the highlights of the night. I'll keep my eyes open for an appearance up here on the left coast. I've got a few friends that would enjoy those guys as well.

Those are great shots. Love the one that shows Philip leaning against the amp. :)

Sadly a family emergency required that I arrive at the show late. I missed Murder By Death (who I have discovered I quite like), and I missed the first three songs of The Pogues' set. This mean I just got a lot of wobbly crowd shots.
