This was my 2nd show of the tour-I seen them in Boston last week. Great show, great venue, great time!! I just got home from NYC & my voice is still gone. Shane wearing the scally & tri-clolor tie was cool. 8) Also this time the wine bottle fell off his head & he had a good laugh. :D I can't believe its all over now. I pray this isn't the last US tour.

Joaquin Phoenix too.

Hmm....DzM spotted an actor and was going nuts trying to remember his name. Based on the very detailed description our beloved site admin gave me, I believe it was Phoenix.

At the 16th show I ran into a very drunk Dermot Mulroney (of "My Best Friend's Wedding"). Although it might be more accurate to say he ran into me!

He and Kieran were at the 3/16 and 3/17 shows.

Was he in the Low and Sweet orchestra?

That actress from 3rd rock from the Sun was there on Thursday night. She was also in the Austin Powers movie, forget her name.

I understand his after-hours shenanigans earned him a mention in the Post's gossip column three days in a row.

That's pretty funny, I spent about an hour joking about "the guy who looks like that guy who plays Hurley on Lost".
Uh, now I feel like kind of an idiot.
And I missed Buscemi, damn. I love him, I used to stalk him in the deli where we both got our breakfast at my old job.
On topic, that was the best show I have seen in my life. Not the best Pogues show, the best show of any kind. And I've seen a lot of live music. Shit, I've been onstage myself and not enjoyed it one tenth as much.
Maybe it's because I've been waiting for this since high school. Best show ever. Best set ever. Shane is amazing - they are all amazing. I hope it's not another 15 years before they come back, but if it is, I'll be there then, as well. I sang at the top of my voice and cried. I was at least halfway back the floor, but I could see straight to the stage during "Thousands are Sailing" and now I can die happy. And "Streams of Whiskey". Oh, shit, all of it. Best night of my life.
Love that so many people traveled so far for this. I came in from Brooklyn, but it's brilliant that so many people seem to have come from so far away. I'm still in a big bubble of love for all of you, especially the ones who threw their beers on me during "Sickbed of Cuchulainn". That was AWESOME.

Got that photo on my work desktop. Thanks for sharing. My colleagues are tired of my bragging about last weekend. But I can't contain myself!

Nor should you! Come on, what could they have done this past weekend that could even begin to compare - shop at the mall? Do laundry? Go see "Brokeback Mountain"? 8)
