Video of Broad Majestic Shannon 3/15 in Boston

Post Sun Mar 19, 2006 12:19 am

This is the last full video I have from the show. It is of the same quality as the other two. The only other clips I have are from "Fairytale". They are fragmented as I ran out of room on the memory card, then the internal memory and then finished on a second memory card. So chunks are missing, and given my lack of knowledge they would have to be set in three different posts. So, if anyone is interested I will do them also.

Enjoy.

P.s. could someone just post a reply to let me know it has worked?
Did the old songs taunt or cheer you, and did they still make you cry?

Works just fine, Dan. :)

Yah, the quality is a tad dicey, but the spirit's all there - a sweet little memento of a wonderous evening. Thanks!

PS>I saw from the still pics you posted that you use a Mac, if you have QT pro you can combine the 3 clips from FofNY into one.

One of my favorite Pogues tunes. I was there just a few rows back... The band was so tight. Still trying to figure where to start on a review of Wed. night.

I love the accordion in this song. Watching James during the tune almost makes me want to go out and just buy one, even though I'd never be able to learn it.

for those of us who couldn't make it and, no doubt, those who did. How about Masetro Shane on Broad Majestic Shannon, just great! The sound on Fairytale was great, better than I'd have expected. BTW, former Quincy resident myself, just a few miles south of you now.

You're racing ahead of me Southward. I'm originally from Dorchester!
