Tut-tut. Do you expect everyone over the age of say 50 to be incapable of independent movement, or what?

Good that you enjoyed yourself, but is there really a need in portraying the Pogues as some sort of aging freak-show?

Guess I'm a bit cranky today.

And I'd never known that they did an album named Run, Sodomy & the Lash.

I liked them. Entertaining ska. Unfortuantely the sound mix was terrible for them. The trombone player's mic was way too loud (especially when he used it to sing or - horrors - was yelling "Yeah Yeah Yeah" like a cheap MC), and the sax mic was way too loud - it completely overpowered everyone else when he blew those reeds.

BUT - They were fun. It's hard to hear ska and not feel happy.

And to end any specualtion: No. They did not contribute to the horns for Fiesta.

I interviewed him back in January that was the plan, but I'm thinking it's been pushed back because I haven't seen an word on it.

That guy goes to a lot of shows, but his reviews are always goofy. He's always pimping himself at Brooklyn Vegan. Whatever. Good to see some photos.

Does this mean cameras are allowed in the Nokia Center? Or was special permission given?
