I have a few shots of dubious quality and maybe 1 or 2 clips I'd love to share with the good people here, but I have to pead to abject ignorance as to how to do it. Any advice would be welcomed!

You'll need to upload your files to a server somewhere first, then with the proper coding, you can link to them here.

However...if you don't have server space of your own, there's a really really easy route you can take (for the images at least), you can use Pixentral. Basically you select a file from your computer, send it to their server, it automagically generates the right code that will create a clickable thumbnail link, and you just have to copy/paste that code into your post here.

For the clips, you can use this: http://www.sendspace.com
Just browse for the file, uploading may take a couple of minutes or an hour, then paste the link that appears to the board here.
No registering necessary. Files expire after a certain date (couple of weeks I think), but knowing the enthusiasts on here, it shall suffice....
