Wahheyy! Sounds like you guys are havin' and givin' a blast!! More powers to your collective arms and legs! Off-topic slightly, but 'tis now 11.59pm Oz-time. So, let me be the first Antipodean to wish you all Happy St. Pat's! I'm sipping a Jameson's, listening to Planxty's 'Arthur McBride'.Sláinte!

show

Thanks to the kindness of strangers I was able to get into the show! Thank you to those who helped! Great show, great energy. Crowd was really into the music, but friendly. I always expected to see a band like the Pogues in a standing room only club, but the Orpheum has such history and great acoustics that they seemed right at home. Setlist was immaculate...played all the songs we had hoped for and more. Highlights were: Broad Majestic Shannon, Bottle of Smoke and Thousands are Sailing! Got to meet Philip and Terry (and Jamie indirectly) after the show. What an evening! I will never forget it.

Someone has just handed me a note saying the kittens have been released and are ok. Great to hear you could work in Boys from the County Hell! :)

Boston ♥ The Pogues!

Fantastic show! Great performance and the crowd was LOVING it. Thanks for coming, guys!

And you looked nice in your suit, Philip!
First we drank some whiskey.
Then we had some gin.
Then we had tequila,
A-ha, that's what did me in!

I'm waitin' to see the photos of Mr. C.'s suit that he said he's going to debut at the St. Patrick's Day show.
