Sure thing. I'll probably post them under this thread but I'll send a note too.

Anyway, it was my first time shooting in a larger venue, so a few things threw me off. By the time I finally figured out how to get good shots, it was time to go. :-( (Using my 50mm lens the next night worked much better.) That said, I got a few good ones.

I had Canon's 70-200 f2.8 "L IS USM" lens. It's amazing, but I'm still pretty new to photography, so I couldn't always compose properly, especially with all the mic stands and bright lights. (Thank goodness for Photoshop!)

It's not necessarily accommodating to catch the whole band if you are right up front, but I carry a couple other lenses to compensate for that. It’s excellent for “stage portraits”. You really need the large aperture (and fast film) when shooting in these low light, no flash conditions.

Yeah. I was going for ind. portraits. It's all you can really do at that range.

Looking forward to seeing your shots.

Thanks, and good luck getting a pass! Sorry again that it took me so long to get back to you.

EDIT: Heh. I can't help it. I have to share my favorite photo from both nights. It's a bit blurry because I had to hurry to capture the moment, but hey, I still love it.

More to come, hopefully by the end of the week.

I like the blurriness.

On Friday night, he was balancing a similar glass on his head for several seconds. He then tried balancing it on the back of his hand, but that didn't work as well as it did on his head.

That's a very nice lens OhNoYoko. Not too experienced with digital, but the focal length is longer using it on a digital slr, probably1.6x? I'm sure you'll get used to it in no time. Ligths were bright? That's good to hear because it's all about available light after all. Hope it's the same at Nokia.
Shane's expression on the photo is priceless and yeah, you're right, it's all about the moment - you have to be damned fast! We're all waiting for the end of the week to see more... no pressure, of course.

It works ok for me, Walshy.
Though that's no help, is it? :(
