Does anyone remember how long the Pogues played for last night?

Yeah, the band really gave us our money's worth! I don't think I could've physically stood any longer last night. I felt like I was "filled" to the rim- and satisfied as well!

Eric- i'll definately take your request to heart- i'll buy a soldier a beer. ;-)

Sighhhhh *grin of extreme demented whimsy*

Post Sat Mar 11, 2006 11:30 am

All this talk of another week/two days/ 354 milliseconds till yez get to see them is giving me a mild depression at the thought of having to wait up to 12 MORE MONTHS. *oh boo-bloody-hoo  *

Still, pass the poitín, 'tis but six sweet days 'til the greenest saintly day o' the year! HURRAH! ....*dances off to strains of the theme from 'Captain Pugwash'*....

At least there is hope in the air... not too long ago I'd never have thought it would be possible to see the Pogues play together again.

At least that's what I try telling myself when I log on here. To be honest I'm green with envy, the shade getting deeper and deeper as each day passes. (Do English-speaking people turn green with envy? Or is that something German/Norwegians only do?)

Yep, he did. His song, his singing. And it was great.

Often. And those of us that spend the bulk of our time in front of computers start a rather charming shade of bluish-green already, so it's not much of a transition.

I resemble that remark, sir! Water-pistols at dawn?
And yes, Maija, that is an idiomatic expression that made it's way into English possibly FROM the Germanic languages. And apart from the bloodshot road-map veins, that's the colour of my 'eyes' right now....*chuckle*

@Fintan & DmZ: Thankies :) I will from now on save myself the trouble of walking over to my books and looking things up. Much more convenient to have The Natives clear it up for me ;-)
