Millions of people are going to wake up in Nigeria in a few hours thanking their lucky stars that Brown Eyes was in fact played. I was so happy. Just before it, as there was a brief quiet period, I yelled out "My name is MacRua and I don't give a fuck about your rules." I was just about dead center, about 8 people back from the stage. Shane said "Shut up!" And then belted out Brown Eyes. It was pure magic. :D

Thanks for letting us know that it rocked.

It's nearly nine in the morning round here, and I was eagerly waiting for the first reports to arrive.

So it's rather Fuck off to work for me.

Just got back about an hour ago. Transcendent.!!! Otherworldly!!!! Blown away!!! Wasted by the muse!!! So many great moments. Shane's voice was in great form, and the band was amazing. Thanks Phil for leading our choir in such a wonderful song. Magic!! Before The Irish Rover, Shane scanned the crowd, and asked if George Bush was in the house. It was gas. Later, he called Spider his "little eight legged friend." Eric , I heard you yell at Shane, and his funny response. Nigerians rock!! On the way home, as my friend coasted along at 85 mph, on the Parkway, I just staired at the road like a zombie on smack...and I had not one drop of drink (Other than my trusty water bottle), nor any illegal substances, which, by the way, I have nothing against. The two hour drive seemed to take five mins. I had to drive ten minutes home from his house, and I didn't care if I wrecked the car. I knew I would feel nothing but bliss...tonight was a taste of heaven, and I can't wait to go back and receive the sacrament tomorow. This night will be burned on our souls forever. Good night, and Merry Christmas. How in the hell am I gonna sleep tonight???

Thanks for all your slants on the show!! Who could be dissappointed with such brilliance? It's ten to fucking five a.m. over here on the west coast and I'm off to work. And I ran to the computer as fast as my alarm went off. (Okay, I made a cup of coffee first). Well done boys from the county Hell!
