I went to the Friday and Sunday shows in London. There was kind of a sense of awe as I was under the impression that Hell would freeze over before the Pogues would reunite and the announcement that they were kind of came out of nowhere. Given that, I thought the shows were quite good. Shane seemed less drunk and in better form than the last two years or maybe the fact that he was wearing a suit made him seem more presentable. It was cool to hear the Parting Glass live as well as the extended jam on the end of it on Sunday.

i was at the gig in brixton academy on the 21st !

it was brilliant...great atmosphere in the crowd and on stage...the band was in top form and shane singing very well (even better than 2005) !

just love remembering that evening where i really had a ball with some of my best friends and loads of nice mates and the best band there is !!!

I was at Manchester Academy about a week before Brixton. I was really made up to see them play together having got my tickets only a few weeks before. It was the first time my partner had seen them live and I'd been telling him for years how brilliant they were live. He was not disappointed.
