Classic gig last night lads, MacGowan seemed to be doing more onstage banter than last year in Bham and was good to hear Sayonara 8)

BUT... at the bar a bottle of cider/lager cost 2.80 which meant a pint cost over a fiver so i think i spent about £30 on bevvies

Hopefully bevvies will be cheaper tomorrow in Brixton Acad, which I am hearing is a quality venue.

Top performance again last night. I too am feeling my age this morning - it was wild down front.

Good of Phil to take the time to make the day of a couple of regulars by dedicating songs to them. I rather think someone's birthday was made!

Nice to meet up with fellow medusans. Smart bunch - managing to all meet in a pub with a different name to the one we'd planned!

Obviously I'm not so smart... didn't work that one out.

But the greeting from Mr C was special, much appreciated and made girls jump up and down. Thanks, Mr C.

No worries, wwfcpogue. :)
In the end we would have been too late anyway, I think.

I was at the Brum gig last night too. I'm a big Dropkick Murphys fan, but I've always liked the Pogues too.

Being honest, I was saddened to see how poor a performance Shane gave. It surprises me that so many people though that was a good gig, I felt embarrassed watching him for most of the evening.

Not trying to cause trouble, just my opinion. I paid to see the Dropkicks in truth, if I'd shelled out money for the headliners performance I'd have felt a bit cheated.

Magic gig last night.
What a man our Shane is I had to laugh with his walking around the stage dancing to White City was it my imagination or did he totaly forget the last chorus of the song whilst he was going for his walk.
On stage banter was good and all look to be getting on with each other and enjoying themselves hopefully this is the sign of things to come in the future.
Thanks to all the band and hopefully we can see you all again next year
