They were excellent, Shane was a bit too pissed though, but this didn't ruin the performance in the slightest.

Yes they were excellent, i agree. it's great to see them as a band again. On the subject of the comments of 'mr bod' he is right about security. i went to a gig at the MEN recently with my 7 year old daughter (wont tell you who we went to see tho!!) security gave me a hard time because she was standing on her chair. said it was a health and safety risk!!!!). I also read that people were being taken out by security at the madonna gig this year for taking photos even though they were allowed to walk in with cameras. I think they are far too heavy handed!!

I noticed that setlists from last years christmas tour had 27 songs...why cut three when you could put back brown eyes, medley, or whatever??

if you look at the amount of songs other 'big' bands play i think 24 is quite good. U2 were averaging about 22, the likes of coldplay and oasis were not even playing 20! With the pogues you do actually get quantity as well as quality.

Roll on next year (hopefully!!)

Maybe, but just making comparisons to some other bands on tour at the moment. Judging by the 'SUN' review though they missed out Sayonara at Brixton. Don't know if that was true or not

I know the manchester gig was filmed anyway, but i did notice someone near the stage towards block 102 doing a video (in the crowd). Anything surfaced yet?? Would be great to get some kind of souvenir for keepsake if a DVD isn't released etc.

I guess it was about the 2004 Manchester gig. Check this thread.

Young Ned has been played in every show since our lovely band reformed in 2001.
