Home of the greatest football team in all the land.
“An’ this is the last of Brummy,” he said, leaning on his spade and looking away over the tops of the ragged gums on the distant range.

My mate Stuart Pearce was at the show tonight, fresh from his team's 4-1 rout of Birmingham City. But in the interest of balance, I dedicated Thousands Of Sailors to the memory of Georgie Boy.

around the time 'Definately maybe' came out a mate went to see Oasis at Sheffield and said the bloke in front of him was getting right into it - turns out it was Stuart Pearce (then at Notts forest i think?). Mate ended up speaking to him and by all accounts he's a top bloke , apparently the Pistols are his favourite band of all time.

Great show - and nice touch Phil with "This one's for Georgie Boy."
:D

Highlights for me were a rousing Dirty Old Town and Rainy Night in Soho. And Ella Finer was superb.

Just remembered a quite amusing exchange on set between Spider and Terry with the former describing the latter as "one great big erogenous zone." Was funny at the time!
