The crowd at Manchester was deafening with their chanting and singing and enthusiasm - tonight's crowd barely acknowledged when spider was introduced on several occasions - let alone his speech regarding filling Phil's big shoes

It's only my opinion - so feel free to slag me off ....... I'll be there tomorrow ..... So will too many other people who just want to see FONY played live so it's off their bucket list.

Seemed like a great crowd right down the front, less so as you headed further back. Lots of music critic, Guardian reader looking white men who slowly disappeared when they realised what a friendly to and fro at the front of a Pogues gig's like.

Hats off to the guy singing the whole of A Pair of Brown eyes as he pissed next to me at the urinal.

Terrific pics FH. Thanks for posting. Almost wish I had done one of the London nights now, but the O2 crowd last year contained so many eejits......

Good show. I flew in from Oslo, Norway just for the show and met up with a friend of mine from Norway for a couple of pints before the show. We decided to take the full Pogues experience and positioned ourselves at the front just in front of Shanes electric fan and drinks table. Good view and a bit of rumble as the audience rocked along with the band. Jolly good night, although I have seen Shane in better shape. Happy to see that he was better on the other nights though. Highlights for me were Sickbed and Waltzing Mathilda. Loved watching Shane as he threw the ancient Irish folk instrument, the beer tray straight into the head of a security guy and watched it bounce off his head and into the audience. Not too many signs of good humor from Shane this night, but that brought forward his famous cackling laughter. Until we meet again, Happy New Year!
