I'm very hung over, I'm surprised I got that down!

Let me see.

Streams
If I Should fall from Grace.....
Sally MacLennane

That was the first three in order, the rest is a bit hazy so bare with me.

The Encore was
'Rainy Night In soho'
I think 'The Irish Rover'
'Fiesta'

Ah fuck it they played everything apart from 'Boys from the county hell', 'Bottle Of Smoke' 'Yeah yeah yeah....' and 'Fairytale' and everyone was on form including Shane 'greeting Barcelona', and bringing on stage his massive jug of Gin. Great gig, great band, great drink, great women, great food, well maybe not so much the latter. The other bands were a best shite, got home at 3:00am had to chip in £95 to get a cab home fromGuilford trian station. Worth it. Any chane of someone uploading it to Kufen's page when i's up again, I hope this isn't the last time I see The Pogues. , The Only problem was they couldn't play for longer but at least I can say I've seen the Pogues.

Well Alex that must of covered me for a few days.

Good set. Came on at 9.40 finished at 11.10

Others played included -

Sick Bed
Star of County Down
Tuesday Morning
South Australia
Broad Majestic Shannon
Main Old Drag
Lullaby of London
Turkish Song

A couple off Hells Ditch can't remember what ones

Thought Shane was on good form. Plenty of interraction with the crowd although only understood half of what he was going on about.

Spider was full off it too. I wish the rest of them would smile a bit more though. :D

Ah, yes, Simon, that was your first live Pogues show, right?

My first was last Dec. 13th. I know the feeling.

No, No I've missed It shit.

The only one of Hell's Ditch I can remember was Rain Street!

But I was so glad they played a near-enough full set-list. I was talking to a guy who had seen all forms of The Pogues, from the early days, when they played in pubs in London, to the Hey-day i.e 80's, he said Shane's last show, after Shane, Shane and The Popes, the reunions gigs. the poor bastard even went to New York to see Shane and The Popes for the show to be canceled, poor fucker. Thats a true fan.

Thanks to all of you who were there on Friday. We had a ball. We would have played a bit longer but there was a local council curfew. I don't know who was playing in Lulu's bathroom, but it can't have been us, as we did not go on until 9.35.

Now......where did I put that kimono?

Gosh Phil, that's just so weird. I heard Paul Weller at 3.10 but it turns out he was still on a bus then. They say wish fulfillment is so powerful in Guildford in July...

Live stuff from Guilfest should be available on the BBC R2 website for a week after first broadcast.
Dermot O'Leary ends his show with "The Irish Rover".
The Saturday night "live highlights" show begins with "Fiesta".

I still can't get it to work! I still have a headache, I had to go for a drink yesterday to cure my hangover, (at least for a couple of hours)

and bringing on stage his massive jug of Gin.

After reading James's page I have to correct myself it was water, i feel a bit of a twat, to be fair the next morning I felt like I drank about two jugs.  But I remember the rest of the gig! :D
