Absolutely wonderful show tonight. Just back to Philly, getting ready for some sleep before class tomorrow then more Pogues on Thurs. Let me just say that Shane was the star of the night, not a missed lyric or cue the entire night, truly the best I've seen him. Crowd near me in front of Jem was little subdued and a girl would not stop screaming at Spider for Poor Paddy but overall a great show and great night - looking forward to closing it out on Thursday!

Also, not really sure what Shane wanted to play but Spider had to tell him "It's not on the list" and repeated before several songs "If it's not on the list it doesn't exist". Great interaction all night from what I could hear. Crowd started off some what subdued on the floor but they came around with some coaxing from Mr C. Met some gents from Tipp that knew Shane and were here in the States for the first time. They're playing in Brooklyn the next two nights. Great bunch of guys. Suffice to say it was quite a night.

Awesome show last night! The crowd wasn't too insane or rowdy I thought (which is fine by me haha), at least from my point of view. The band sounded great!

Was it just me or did it look like James almost accidentally jumped into the photo pit for Repeal? The banter from Spider had me laughing all night. I'll have a review and my photos up later on tonight. Now I must pretend to be at work today. Ugh...

Bloody excellent show. Everyone in the band on top form including Shane. He looked really good. Had a lot of fun with the other Pogues fans from this site who I met :) Got some good pics. Didn't take any video or pictures of the band. Wanted to enjoy and savour every moment rather than watching it through a view finder of a camera. Loved it when the crowd were calling out for a certain song, and Spider says "hold on, hold on, we've got a schedule to follow" as he looks at the set list. Then Shane chimes in "if it ain't on the list, it don't exist"! Spider threw his hands up and said "see, why didn't I think of that one"! He used the quote a couple more times as the night went on.

Anyhow, good times, good times :)

Awesome show and I've been to many. This one is not to be missed. The Band is tight and playing better than ever and Shane isn't losing the plot. Go and cheer loudly

Last night was great and the band was spot on. I was in the front row sort of between Darryl and Jem....yes, the crowd was subdued, but it made it easier to be up there.

I would have liked to have met alot of you, but can't do St. Andrews or whereever else....have to juggle these shows with work, so it's get in/park the car around 6:45ish and go straight into the venue.

Worn out, but ready for tonight.

Maturity is sometimes highly overrated.

He wasn't talking to Shane, there was some dude up front calling out for "Turkish Song of the Damned" at every possible interval.

Apparently Shane droped by a bar in Astoria after the show last night and performed Sweet Jane:

that's fantastic! Shane on harmonica! You can tell that, even late in the night, after a full gig, he's still in good shape!

Thanks, from my vantage point I could only see what looked like interaction between the two of them.
