What part of Oldham are you from? I grew up in Fitton Hill, Limeside and finally (before Canada) Chadderton.
Cheers.

Brought up in Roundthorn. Lived for a few years up in Kendal,Cumbria before work brought us back to the Oldham area. I now live in Shaw with all the Gawbies!

"I'm also an ex Fitton Hillbilly (Westerhill Rd from 65-88) and will be at the Apollo tonight!!"

We were almost neighbours, I lived on Springwood Hall Rd. from 67-70. I last went back in 94 to visit my parent's friends who still live there. Had to go to the chippy on Westerhill. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Have fun tonight, I wish I could be there too.
Cheers

Must say that I can't really agree with this review either....everyone is entitled to their opinion but.... At the end of the day - does it really matter about the material or that it is only once or twice a year? Not really! This is what the fans want.
The venues are at near full capacity, there is a demand and so that would leave one to believe that there is a revenue stream. I'm truly thankful that the band has picked this method to "feed their families and habits".

Long live free enterprise!

Sounds quite like the child that missed out on a great time in life and music

Dear "guest", perhaps you should practice using the Quote button? I do not think that the Flickr photographer missed out on a great time. ;)
