I've never been so proud to be Australian as I was last night when the lads played And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda- I was wedged against the barriers front and centre, pint in hand, tears pouring down my face. Never thought I'd get the chance to see my favourite band in action, and now I understand what all the old campaigners have said- it's truly an indescribable experience and one I'll never forget. You're the measure of my dreams

Phil, thank you so much for the set list. I LOVE all of the songs injected into the set list. Each one; London Girl, Matilda, Boat Train, & Yeah Yeah Yeah are all personal favorites!!! PLEASE keep 'em rolling for the East Coast swing!

We haven't settled on anything yet, we're still shaking things up a little, maybe alternate songs on different nights. Yeahx4 and Kitty likely to get dropped tonight in favour of Irish Rover and Lullaby of London.

Can anyone clarify if it was actually Metropolis or Transmetropolitan that was played?
Thanks,
Phil

What do we need to do to ensure Fairytale is played at the March dates? Please let us know what Ella's demands would be, I would be willing to sort out the red M&Ms.

Have the Catholic church move Christmas to the 17th of March

March 17 is already in use for St. James Cagney Day.

Hi !
Just flew back to Germany from Dublin and I have to say I saw the best Pogues Concert I have ever seen. The band played outstanding and Shane was in a spectactular form. The setlist was great, some new songs were added and it ended up in a perfect evening. I had four friends with me who hadn't seen The Pogues before and they were absolutely thrilled.
I hope there will be a second Farewell Christmas Tour next year...

Would love to hear Rover in Manchester but would also like to hear Kitty - as well as Leaving of Liverpool and Waxie's. Hmmmmm. I'mma hope Rover gets played - if not all 4 of 'em!
