Great gig! Rated 6/6 from me.
I stayed in the front and got squeezed between dedicated fans all the time. They promised to be back next year, and I hope they keep the promise. In the end I got the setlist.

Great show. My first Pogues concert, and not the last.
Will be back next year and possible also will go to England/Ireland.

However they should try turn down the music, and Shane voice up.
Shane voice hear more than good enough that they can do so.
Now Shane voices often was "drowned" by the music.

"Hot Dogs with Everything?" You sure about that? Could this perhaps have been "The Irish Rover" (often noted on set lists as "Dog") followed by "Fiesta?"

Nope, no hot dogs with nothing, just the good old Irish one.

I had a great time, the concert was so much livelier and errr liver than the previous two ones I went to in London. Must be the fact that Mr C was there! Thousands was definitely the highlight for me.

(And a very unexpected plus was seeing posters for Fiddler's Green playing at Union in a month and a half.)

On my tape encore two is The Irish Rover - dedicated to the late great Ronnie Drew - and Fiesta.

I will write a longer experience description later, as for now I just feel the need to say that:

* The band was playing perfectly
* Shane sang wonderfully
* I'm still exhausted from the whole night
* After 2 showers, I still smell like sweat and beer
* My voice is gone
* This was the best night of my life!

Simply put - it was all that I dreamed it would be, and more. Much, much more.
Thanks to he whole band for making this night come true!
I really do hope you'll be coming back next year, like Jem said at the end!

I waited a while to see if I could see any of you after the show, but to no avail. I managed to buy a tour shirt though, it looks awesome!
I will live of this experience until I see you again. I have no better way of describing the whole evening than 'wow, best night of my life'. And I'm sure it will be the best until I see you again. Quite frankly I'm tempted to spend what little money I have to go see you in Ireland for the Christmas tour. Just when I thought it wouldn't be possible for me to like you anymore than I did, I see you live. And get blown away, again. Wow.
