That's a little unfair, perhaps.

Walshy, i believe you accidentally credited Craig with this statement but It was I that made the comment.
Unfair, yes sometime jesting pokes come across all wrong in the typed word. No malice intended, just some commentary on who I suspect is the usual handler.

For those across the pond I don't know if there's a comparison anywhere like it. It's a nonstop party town, unlike any other place I can think of even in the US. Halloween being it's second largest blast of the year. The first time I was there in my early 20's I don't think I slept for the first 3 days.

Easy to see the allure to Shane and how he might need to be given a little extra attention.

I've never been to Blackpool as it goes.
I like life.

It gives me something to do.

If you haven't been to Blackpool you haven't lived. [No offence, Walsh.]
Though I'd always thought of Blackpool as the English Vegas rather than the English New Orleans.
But have The Pogues ever played Blackpool? And if not, is the implication that they need to do so in preparation for the next US tour?

Just got this off facebook which got it off My Space. Apols if its on somewhere else. FOR THOSE WHO MAY NOT HAVE SEEN.....From Spiders Blog on VooDooFest... I was right about the voodoo festival. sometimes people can push you a little too far and sometimes Shane can be a complete fucking idiot. comes with the territory. as does disappearing for 24 hours in a city not best known for its low crime rate. big, big thank you to Spiro from Seattle who actually found him slumped in the lobby of the Sheraton,

When quoting something, how about quoting the whole piece?

Some people who witnessed the ensuing flodden of a performance might feel he would have been better advised to just leave him there but nawlins is not the best place to be wandering around if you look like a target. And I'd like to thank the crowd and apologise for my bad humour - macgowan ripping my sunglasses off my face after we'd all been worrying that he'd been fucking murdered was too much. 3-0

No sweat, RICHB. :) I know it is dear Facebook which cares for the well-being of its users, refusing to burden them with pieces of text longer than 420 characters. How considerate...

Zuzana is absolutely right only 420 charecters per post, BUT the entire Spider #2 blog post was posted. It was of course that it had to be posted in two boxes ...the main and one comment box under it. Left out of the quote was the "Tottenham and 3-0" as not to confuse the Americans .
