LARF!

Actually, Shane had just offended as deeply as one rocker can offend another, by stealing Spider's shades. As it was literally moments after Shane had ambled onstage, late, Spider's heroic patience just snapped.

Was it that bad or just like always ? Sounds like Shane and Spider had a little fight going on... Hey Phil ! What happened actually ?

I just told you what happened. It brought me right back to the old George Robey (a North London pub gig) days, it did. In those days, a mere disagreement over the setlist was sometimes enough to trigger civil war.

Philip, can we assume that this little incident won't have a lasting impact on intra-band relations? I'd hate to see things start spiraling the wrong way again...

 Nice mark me down for a pair,

I think 1) luckily it happened at the last show and in a festival 2) plenty of time before the next dates to calm things if it hasn't calmed already.
3) Extra extra handlers with Shane if in NOLA again.

Beside just being in NOLA, I bet Joey C is to blame.

Not been on for a while and found this quite sad, we are all well aware that Shane is Shane etc but there does not seem to be any explanation as to why Shane (if it is true) was wandering around New Orleans by himself. What happened to his friends?, Manager/Joey?, Victoria? (i presume she was the woman whose shoulder he used to rest his weary head on!)

Its quite worrying that Spider had to put out an SOS "Save Our Shane" on various media for help in finding him.

And, as others have said, i do hope that all/any differences are put to bed and the rest of the tour goes ahead as usual, with all the "will he wont he turn up" issues that accompany all tours and that have been unfounded since the reunion.

Well ive heard that Shane agreed to leave the band after the New Orleans gig (although he is saying he was sacked) and the band went for a meal afterwards. However not to worry there is a reunion tour booked in for the Christmas
