I tried to go back to Texas for Halloween but Virgin America screwed me over getting to SFO and I just gave up and headed to Santa Cruz. Sometimes the gods allow you to enter the alternate reality that is Texas and sometimes they don't.

And sometimes they hold you captive here.

This Austin show was the only time I got to visit with Philip in person and will forever be etched in my brain.
