That's all well and good, sure. But was the lead singer drunk? Were tears shed? Was the band fantastic?

Absolutely brilliant gig...Shane in great form the rest of the lads were outstanding ....just back from it, me ears still ringing...was a real joy as an Irishman to hear all those great songs in San Diego....quote of the night goes to the man himself, after Spider says all those from the Kingdom shout it out, and very few do, Shane remarks "Kerry-Free SD" ...thanks lads, missed you 2 years ago , was determined not to again...great show

Yes, the cover of that The Damned Thanksgiving classic was spot on.

What a night... You should have been here! I told you so (you know who you are ;)

The singer did not appear to be drunk, the band was FANTASTIC, tears were shed indeed, I have something sticky and tropical smelling in my hair, a few new bruises, a set list, one of Andrew's drumsticks, and a BIG FAT SMILE on my face!!!

Thank you Philip, thank you.

Do doubt they are filled with envy.

I have something sticky and tropical smelling in my hair

Could be something to do with the Thousands of Sailors mentioned elsewhere and their exotic foreign ports of call (yes yes, I'm going to hell for that).

I really hope Star of the County Down stays in the set til the guys make it to London. In fact, it would make a great opener.

Yes, well, I must say I'm delighted by the return of "Ned" also.

Oh my goodness, I hadn't noticed that was listed. So Mr Woods is singing again? Please let it stay...

I know, I know - I'm kicking meself this morning; I could be waking up in a strange room, in a subtropical climate, with a hangover. Is there coffee? Where's the bathroom? Who WAS that throwing mai-tai's last night? Did you know there's someone with a blowtorch in the backyard?

'Star of the County Down' AND 'Young Ned' ?! 8) You are very lucky South Californians. Both those songs belong in the setlist. I love the way Andrew steps up and BELTS that sucker out! and Mr Woods shines in the spotlight, as well. I've started saving my pennies for the next tour. We will be there! Seattle and Portland were nice this time, but twice is never enough.
...ain't it funny how you used to know everybody in these parts...

Me Too! Me Too! I am so pleased Terry will give his voice a run out again. Let's hope it's still in the stack in December. :D :D

No offense to Ned, but would miss the ditty about the fishes. Hope that could be played Sunday in KC?

Heck, while you're at it play DOG and Star and Ned and... we'll catch Shane if he keels over.
