I think this:

"Shane MacGowans fengende låter og nesten rørende tekster"

translates loosely into

"The lead singer had drank 12 kilometers of gin before his surprised band mates had to fill in for him as he wandered erratically off stage."

I could be wrong though. And danged is that metric system of measurement isn't confusing, eh?
