'Caledonia'- Dougie Maclean, great uplifting song,Frankie Miller covered this in the early 80's i think.Ken Bruce played Frankie's version on his BBC Radio 2 show last week referring to the singer as ''the late Frankie Miller'' which Mr.Bruce soon discovered to his embarrassment was incorrect,sadly the red faced Hun did not get his coat.......

I was in a very serious, big meeting at work this morning. Ten minutes in, drifting up through our fifth floor window came the sound of our local eastern european mariachi style band opening their set with a version of Enjoy Yourself (It's Later Than You Think). Well, you know how it is. I felt obliged to join in. It would have been rude not to. Fortunately the boss thought this was funny and joined in too. Then almost everyone else joined in! I know who didn't! :twisted:

It's been stuck in my head all day.

The downstairs neighbours had a karaoke party last weekend. Somebody with one hell of a voice (coulda been meatloaf himself) took that saga on, and nailed it. Seriously. We had the balcony door open so we could hear - despite the cold - and were hanging on every note. Apparently they've got another friend who sings a dead-on Freddie Mercury, but he couldn't make it.
