Theme song from Shameless (US Version)
And I don't want no grave
Just throw my ashes in the field
And hope there's some soul left to save

Ow ow ow...

Eric Carmen singing "All By Myself"

and all because of a coworker in the next workspace repeating a lame joke with a punchline that she had no clue was related to a song that was a hit long before she was ever even born.

Ow ow ow is right! Hope you've gotten rid of it by now. It's such a painfully sappy song.

Think of it this way: "Obama's Elf, Don't wanna be Obama's Elf..." :D

Don't know if this will make it better or worse:

from an album that at the tender age 5 introduced me to both parody and folk music...

Well this is all timely because since yesterday i've had "The Good Ship Lollypop" stuck in my head. Good thing she retired from the entertainment world young, that song woulda followed her around like an albatross the rest of her life!

I'm reading Barney Hoskyns' biography of Tom Waits, which has led to me having "Shiver Me Timbers" stuck in my head for days now.
