I don't know where a person her age even HEARS that song. She's also loving "American Pie" right now.

Fantastic! I wouldn't normally watch a full video of that type but Kira's playing is captivating. I can't wait to show it to my Ciara when she's home from school later. She has been playing fiddle for nearly a year now and loves trying to play along to the most random tracks.

Just another 9 years and your Ciara can be that good! :D

Merle Haggard leading The Texas Playboys in a tribute to Bob Wills. Watch this, it will be the best 8 minutes you've spent in your life:

I'm loving the Tiny Moore electric mando solo just past 1:40, and the duet w Johnny Gimble just after the 5:00 mark.

Jimmy Falon impersonating Bruce Springsteen singing a parody song called "Gov. Chris Christie’s Fort Lee, New Jersey Traffic Jam", set to the tune "Born to Run." It's fabulous even BEFORE the special guest joins him...

This is a must watch:

Pete Seeger singing "Waist Deep in the Big Muddy" on ABC (?!) at the height of the Viet Nam War. Possibly my favourite composition of his, sadly one of those timeless ones:

I met the drummer from this band at a festival at the weekend. Big Pogues fan, he was wearing a self-designed Pogues T-shirt (we bonded over T-shirts). He said they play a few Pogues covers too, though I haven't found any of them online.
