Thank you all, kindly...

There is a Chicago birthday story between Cnd Steve and I that goes back a few years...but I digress.

Steve was the first Medusan I ever met in the flesh (sporting our fabulous T-shirts designed to attract the opposite sex and/or general admirers) at a show in Las Vegas. The very night Spider and the lovely Louise were married I do believe.

Good times, good times...

Did not realize you were at that show. So were me, Mrs. Cadillac.

Me too.
Well, the first one. Wasn't there a second night?
I remember giving a ticket to some guy whose friends from Manchester had been drinking shroom laced OJ. :)
Delightful.
Can't remember what was so important to up and leave Las Vegas for now.

... Happy Birthday!

Yes, happy birthday kids.

Thanks, all! And a very happy birthday to Kwak, forever known as 'a girl I met in Vegas'...and Boston, and Chicago and New York and Seattle and DC. Here's hoping we can do it again, soon!

Thank you so much.

It's not been such a great day as I've had to work and it was the day from hell with all kinds of problems too but then again I kind of expected it would be as my job isn't an easy one not made any better by the people around me. I am never ever going to do it again, ever.

I was only thinking today that my best birthday so far has to have been my fortieth. It was the first time in my life that I went to London to watch a theatre show, in fact we watched two that week. Anyway I logged on to this site in the hotel the night before at about 7pm and there was a birthday message from Mr C, OK it was a couple of hours early but I was made up he'd remembered (mind you I had been going on about it for weeks so no wonder). I don't know if I ever thanked him for it, so if you're reading this Philip, thanks for that. :)

Anyway, going to check my other messages, up to now I have over twenty, then have a bath and then chill with a couple of glasses of wine, not too many as it's a school night but boy after today I don't half feel like it.

Well that was me turning 40 yesterday, which i celebrated by getting passing a road test and getting my "Class 5" driver's licence. We have a "graduated licensing system" here in BC, and I've been meaning to take the final test for the past 8 years, and figured i should get it before i turn 40. Beat the clock by about 10 minutes! Guess this means i'm an adult now.
