Ah thanks FH. Been in town on the pop all day, only had 4 pints but Jake had had enough so came home after popping into a Tesco's in town for a bottle of wine for myself.
This is the problem if you only go out with your husband/bf/partner. If they get fed up and you want to carry on, you're on your own. Shame none of my friends came, I could have stayed out then.
He actually wants to watch the last couple races from the Isle of Man TT, I sussed that out when he said he wanted to come home.
Ah well least I have the wine.

I completely overlooked that last Thursday was Zuzana's birthday. Many (belated) Happy Happies to Lady Z!

My dad is 86 today.
It didn't work out for my parents in Essex so I've moved them into a care home in Liverpool, therefore I will be going down to see them this afternoon.
To be honest I think they could cope with sheltered housing or assisted living accommodarion because they're both right in the head so to speak, they just have trouble walking, but this is what they wanted so I went with it and we'll see how it works out for them.

Best of luck Heather. My wife lost both her parents these past twelve months, her mother's one year is tomorrow. It is nice to have them still around. BTW -so you are Going Down to Liverpool, that would make a great song title
