When you’re booking an airport access hotel in your town and know what’s up. :)
Nice try, Priceline.

Also, why aren’t hotels cheaper right now? FFS.

So I won a "major award", well first prize.

It has a value of $9,600 and is the stupidest thing you could win outside of a horse.

A loved one is taking it and selling it for me. It weighs 700 lbs.

LOL.

Just give me a check for $9,600, shit. 8)

Well Stampy weighs more than 700 pounds. Hmm.

Is this what you’re talking about?

The only video games I’ve been exposed to are Grand Theft Auto, Super Mario and some Legend of Zelda. I also know how to buy Super Mario Vans for gifts but that’s about it.

Otherwise, I don’t know what you mean. :)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bart_Gets_an_Elephant

Bart wins a KBBL radio contest after the station's DJs, Bill and Marty, call him and he correctly recites the station's slogan. They give Bart the choice of two prizes: $10,000 in cash or a full-grown African elephant. Bart chooses the elephant. Bill and Marty are dumbfounded because the elephant is only a gag prize they never thought anyone would choose. They offer Bart several other prizes, all of which he refuses. Word spreads throughout town about Bill and Marty's refusal to give Bart an elephant, leading to a flood of angry mail and letter bombs from the station's listeners. Bill and Marty's boss gives them an ultimatum: either find an elephant for Bart or lose their jobs. They find an elephant and leave it on the Simpons' front lawn.

This episode is from '94 (good lord). Larger than Life is evidently of '96 vintage, so ... "Simpsons already did it!"

I love Waldo. But not the girl Waldo or the dog Waldo... whatever their stupid names are.

My boss gave me $100 cash to gamble at Caesars Palace and... if Chan Chu does not honor me with riches I told her I will bend at the waist and yell “Godammit!” in the middle of the casino.

I don’t drink while gambling because it is serious, serious business. But, apparently the dispensaries are all located off the strip.

The first Pogues concert I attended was in Vegas and I gave my next nights ticket to a Manc who didn’t have one and told me they were drinking OJ with magic mushrooms in it. Some people know how to live.

On this day six years ago I “met” a sleeping Grumpy Cat.
What a freaking cutie pie. OMG OMG OMG.

Only time I ever impressed the littles in the fam.
Except for when I got a personalized Tony Shalhoub picture framed for a little.
Random.

I have nearly 12 shiny Canadian Amazon Dollars for the first person that can tell me:

In what season of The X-Files did the producers stop trying to convince us that the rain forests of Vancouver are ACTUALLY high desert Nevada?
