Hey, just think of the possibilities: my street could start paying to stop the wild neighbours from hauling out the bongos at 1 am; and those who object to the inferno of the tar sands in Alberta could pay the oil companies to cease their production of dirty oil. We could pay politicians not to cut social programmes. Oh wait, they already get payoffs from making the cuts. Ah well.

Couple victims of laptop 'potato' fraud
A man and a woman paid £650 for what they believed to be a laptop computer - only to discover they had been sold a bag of potatoes...The seller was described as white, aged about 30, at least 6ft with reddish brown hair and stubble wearing light blue jeans.

...and £650 better off. So...if I go and buy a bag of potatoes from the potoato seller by the side of the road will he give me a laptop?

It is obviously Cameron's fault for naming Jeremy Hunt Culture Secretary. Probably a deliberate and cunning stunt to ensnare and discredit the BBC.
