Hey, just think of the possibilities: my street could start paying to stop the wild neighbours from hauling out the bongos at 1 am; and those who object to the inferno of the tar sands in Alberta could pay the oil companies to cease their production of dirty oil. We could pay politicians not to cut social programmes. Oh wait, they already get payoffs from making the cuts. Ah well.

...and £650 better off. So...if I go and buy a bag of potatoes from the potoato seller by the side of the road will he give me a laptop?

So that's what it was. I heard Naughtie's abject apology near the end of the show but was at breakfast when Mrs Maloprop expanded.

It is obviously Cameron's fault for naming Jeremy Hunt Culture Secretary. Probably a deliberate and cunning stunt to ensnare and discredit the BBC.

Will anybody disagree if I say that the most common line in an action movie is:

"Let´s get out of here" or even better "Let´s get the hell out of here"
The piano has been drinking, not me

if there's a woman involved (and usually there is), then "get down!" would take a close second :D
