Izza true fact I worked in Asda as a cleaner...employed by a contract firm..so no Big Badge...bastids...I stole one and made me own badge...it said BARNEY in big letters and underneath in little writing it said ''fuck off and leave me alone''...I got in lumber so changed it to..''I don't know where anything is."
I had to clean the butchery department every night...and me a veggie..decided it was my penance for being a cunt all my life. this is a true story.

It's "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day"!

Yay for free speech, provocation for provocation's sake, and religion-bashing in general.

The indispensable Reason.com has chosen three particularly insightful depictions of the Prophet Mohammed (please, they really are great!) along with a riveting primer on free speech.

Here's a Facebook fan page for this day that will live in blasphemy.

Most of these submissions are fairly (read: entirely) amateurish, many others are also childishly fixated on gay sex and toilet humor, but some are downright reverential. I wish I possessed the right-brainability to directly participate in this exercise, but every time I try to make a drawing of Mohammed, I end up with a drawing of Jehovah instead. Weird.

http://www.pogues.com does not necessarily endorse this post and/or the content displayed by clicking the links. I haven't been the object of a fatwa since a regrettable incident with a stained blue burqa, so it's cool to hold me personally responsible, if blame is required.

***edited for grammar FAIL***

LittleMugCakes! Haven't seen you around for awhile.

Some goody two shoes mother has come up with the very original idea that we are wrapping our kids in cotton wool, and she has declared that Saturday should be "Leave your kids in the Park" day. What a laugh to announce to the world that on Saturday the parks are going to be full of unsupervised kids. Calling all pedophiles and perverts!

I tried drawing the Prophet once, but it didn't turn out so good, as he kept moving. No doubt this would explain why others have had no luck either.

I have often thought that this scenario would make a good sketch....
Mohammed and Jesus sitting in the garden of paradise, looking at each other, looking at the world and shaking there heads saying "They just don't get it do they"
Bury me with my arse out the ground so the missus can park her bike

Ah, I see I perpetrated a failure of grammar. Corrected.

Hi gfch, glad to see you survived another semester. :)

Chinaski, sorry about Jack. I've lost three in the last four years, and want to get another twenty.

Someone stole my Integra a week ago, after I washed and vacuumed it and filled it with gas.

Hey everyone!! Chinaski, I'm so sorry about Jack :( We had to put our dog down a little over a year ago, so I feel your pain. I've been good...like I said, I survived the first year (it was hell) and they say it gets easier from here because I now know what to expect. I currently have nothing until June 17th and then I start TAing.

It's so nice to hear from everyone else too.... territa, jenny, phro, Sporting....let's get this party started. Where the hell did everyone go?
