An interesting Saturday and Sunday lineup.
And FREE

I also saw this and wish I could attend. James McMurtry and The Heartless Bastards are playing the "Star" stage Sunday at 12:55 pm.

And who in the world could not like you, Heather? Do enjoy your second week of leisure.

I've not been on site for awhile as I am back to work leaving no child behind. Then, for well over two weeks, we have had internet provider issues. Good news as of Friday, though: we have a dish on our roof allowing us high speed internet access for the first time!! I have been drunk with youtube watching.

Welcome back Esther and thanks.

Really looking forward to my second week off, probably won't be doing anything special, maybe a few day trips out if I can prize the remote control out of my partners hand.

I'm enjoying spending more time on here and catching up with people I've not spoken to for a while.

It's been good so far.

I'm gettin ready to go to Afghanistan again. Just a short one this time, but I'm really jazzed that I have a mission for my family this time. I'm going to buy my daughter a bag of not-too-expensive cut gems. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a gem seller. Can be fun -- addicting.

Take care, Eric.

As much as I don't agree with war, or any army for that matter, my thoughts are with you.

Thanks everyone. Won't be leaving for a few weeks, and won't be gone for long, but its nice to be ....wished well. Wanted more to focus on the buying of a bag of gems for my daughter. I mean, I'm thinking that it will be a nice memory later in life to have a bunch of gems (they are not a fortune) from dad's old days in Central Asia.

Well I'm off out to a session tonight.

It'll be the first one I've been to for a whole year. This is due to the fact that most traditional music sessions in Liverpool take place mid week, so if you have to drive to work the next day you're screwed.

It'll also be my first time in a pub since before the smoking ban too, so that'll be a challenge, the pub the session is in has no beer garden so it's straight out onto the street if I want a smoke.

Knowing our luck we'll probably get there and there's no session on anymore, or they've changed days, or there's football on so it starts late, but it gets us out of the house.
