Oh! D'oh! The POGUES! Yes, great great GREAT band. What about them?
Did you know they have a whole website with a bunch of different fora devoted to all of them individually and collectively, and all their activities past, present and future? I think it's at www.pogues.com.
I hear there's even a Forum devoted to just... stuff... that isn't even about the band specifically. How cool is THAT?

Purple monkeys - Fuck that! Give me upstanding brown monkeys in little vests and fezes any day. Hell. that's my dream. Just before I die I will be served by monkeys, and they will give me sandwiches and cocktails.

Mr. Fish was being kind. I suggest a two to one match of whiskey and ale and if you intend a bit of spice, include some rum.... as we are often the friggin' in the riggin' type. And the units of measure above are entirely open to you. A pint to a thimble, etc... We are not all alcoholics, just travelers here on this raft.

A few of us just decided that we would go to the student union bar for a few quiet drinks, and a few games of pool, this afternoon before the term starts.

Wouldn't you know, it's bloody open day today and the place was packed

So now just gonna go back later tonight when all the open day people have gone home

Why do laptops always freeze when you're doing something important, like trying to type messages into the medusa forum?

Because laptops are an evil invention designed to drive humanity to distraction before bursting into flames. The laptops that is, not humanity. Oh I don't know.
