Uhnnn.

Don’t know.

I do know that my relatives went out to the desert to shoot lasers at a rented Humvee for work related purposes and the littles were jazzed that X-Files was filming nearby.

So, that time, way back when, in the day. Season four, I’m gonna say. :)

David Duck. Duchovny, whatever his name is... skeeves me all the way out. The fact that he was a raging sex addict speaks to the low standards of some women and celebrity chasing. Eeeew. He’s creepy like Bradley Cooper and Michael Douglas. Eeeew.

He went to Princeton and Yale? Huh.

Arguably 'Detour' (S05E04), with the tree bark monsters? Very old-growthy for a desert.

True story: the episode took 19 days to film due to rain. It aired in Nov '97. I moved to Vancouver in Oct of '98 and found myself living literally around tbe corner from Mulder's apartment. It was still raining. Its raining now.

This is probably not the right answer, but thank you for allowing me to complain about the rain.

The answer (such as it is) I was looking for was "when production moved to L.A. to begin working on Season 6 in 1998." So "Season 6" or "1998" or "when the deserts started looking like actual deserts" would all have been accepted.

Both answers received were wrong, but "Season 5" is the closest of the two. Congratulations Mr. Low D! Your check is in the mail.

Wow i took the question as far less literal. Thank you!

As well as Mulder's apartment building, it was a thrill to see many familiar sites after I moved here, and then funny over the years to see them in OTHER shows (I sometimes think Britannia Mines has been in EVERYTHING). X-Files & The Simpsons were really the only TV i watched in the 1990s, and even if it had descended over-far into it's own soap opera by 1998, i still have fond memories of watching earlier seasons with the Friday night regulars at the laundrymat in Peterborough (we would take popcorn and drinks).

This must’ve been when they ran across them. 2000. OMYGORSH.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0751262/locations

We were in Vegas when they were filming the National Lampoon’s Vegas Vacation scene at the motel where the son wins all the cars. I remember staying at Monte Carlo (Park MGM) and they were welding that giant Coca~Cola bottle across the street 24/7. Pretty sure the chapel that Sinéad O'Connor got hitched at (with the pink Cadillac out front) was the one connected to that motel.

It’s gone now (the motel). Turned into shitty apartments.

Veronica Mars filmed around my old apartment. They’d post the paper notices on trees and shit and I’d be all “Fuck you, Veronica Mars.” Nobody cares.

Apparently too much hot air is dangerous - Rush Limbaugh has announced that he has terminal lung cancer.

30 fucking years of that Boss Hogg POS.

The cigar smoking certainly didn’t help.

I took a Critical Thinking English Composition course from an adjunct SDSU professor and a young, white male would cite Rush Limbaugh’s fucking newsletter when we did those round robin critiques of each others initial drafts. What a freaking ditto head.

I got a B in the course because I’d start my paper for real the night before and pad it with long (precise) quotes even though the professor told me not to.

Pretty sure ditto head guy didn’t fare so well.

But it ain’t easy being a “true patriot.”

I just remember that Limbaugh swore to move to Costa Rica if President Obama won his second term.

Limbaugh’s bitch-ass lied about that too, methinks.

From a long line of lawyers he stands out as the opposite of academic: Because of his parents' desire to see him attend college, he enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University but dropped out after two semesters. According to his mother, "he flunked everything [...] he just didn't seem interested in anything except radio."

Full blown idiot.
Which is fine, drop out, do Adderall, opiates and coke. Sweat like a bovine delivering a calf, just don’t try and attempt to “educate” the masses when you don’t know shit à la Rickety Cricket acting Trump.

Limbaugh’s background isn’t nearly as psycho as Glenn Beck’s though.

What a trio of shysters. Limbaugh and Beck seem in on the joke, though. :?

You seem like a nice person Frances, but could you please stop using insults based on physical appearence or stuff like that? It sometimes (often?) slips into your posts and it honestly makes me cringe, even if the subject of such words is an idiot (and I mostly agree on who you’re insulting...). Thanks.

No. I find it funny. To each their own.

If you click on my user name you can engage the foe tool and feel way less cringy and stuff.

I’m sure you wouldn’t be the first. :)

If it were a member here I said sweated like a bovine birthing a calf I might agree with you but when it’s a public figure whose comportment is vile and derogatory towards others, especially women and minorities, I could care less.

Laters.

I see.
I’ve never put anyone on “ignore” in my e-life so you surely won’t be the first. You’re not evil enough.

I could care less too of what you say about Limbaugh, Twitter-President or whoever else. It’s just that what you might say about their physical appearance might hurt others who are in similar conditions.

I only knew that one of them looks like Jeeves and plays around with Justin Timberlake.

Now, I know one of 'em likes to call himself WN5TN (the fuck?) and fanboys a dipship author who apparently gets concrete pink milkshakes lobbed at his head.

Timberlake singing "Auld Triangle"? I'd rather watch him crying on the curb, asking for his Mommy on an episode of Punked. That shit was funny.

I thought these were the Wurzels:

I have never seen Mumford or his sons and either the Wombles or the Wurzels in the same room. I wonder, could they be related?
