The Wagoneers - Stout and High
A great album by one of the great forgotten country music bands of the 1980s. I didn't even know this came out on CD until I started browsing the Amazon marketplace. One of the best "finds" I've had in a long time.

Grievous Angel wrote:Did a little digging around a used CD store, which is always fun and occasionally unearths real gems. This time around, I picked up:
Todd Snider - Songs from the Daily Planet
John Brannen - The Good Thief
16 Horsepower - Sackcloth 'n' Ashes
16 Horsepower is a band I've heard of for years, but I've never picked up anything from them. Imagine a manic apocalyptic Southern preacher fronting a trio composed of whatever instruments they happened to find at the local pawn shop. They go right up there with House of Freaks as far as making some truly authentic American music. I'm definitely going to hunt down the rest of their albums.
