Ronnie Spector "She Talks To Rainbows"

A 1999 Ep produced by Joey Ramone & Daniel Rey, that i for some reason hadn't heard about until now! Two rock 'n roll survivors making beautiful music together, Ronnie & Joey even duet on Joey's "Bye Bye Baby". Clearly something that was never going to be a hit commercial product, this is a lovely piece of music we should all have.

Wow Dr, that makes my "singles" collection look like nothin'!

I just bought a copy of "Jubilation", the final album from The Band.
http://theband.hiof.no/albums/jubilation.html

A lesson here about downloading... i had downloaded a pirated copy a few year back but - other than Garth's lovely "French Girls" - it didn't do much for me. But i see references from time to time and they're all glowing, so i found a copy. Obviously, compressed format and computer speakers were killing it, this is a lovely album. Garth's piano is so lovely on tracks where i hadn't even noticed it, and the voices are weathered but they're singing in a different way too. It's a very different Band album than any others, but a lovely swan song for the boys. And Levon finally got his writing credits.

Well certainly less than that!

I have an ebay alert for Agnes, i find with patience i eventually find everything i'm after for less than $30, though for her i might surpass that amount somewhat.

If anybody's looking for a copy, here's a reasonably priced LP of "Father's Lying Dead On the Ironing Board" (produced by Philip Chevron):

and the cd, for about twice the price:
