The Triple Album Collection THE POGUES (Rhino/Warners 2012)
Rum, Roses and Grace in one package. FYI, they use the 2004 remasters with the extra tracks and correct running orders.

The Destroyers: Hole In The Universe
Saw them at a festival back in the summer, when they made a big impression. Been resisting, but I've now finally given in and bought their album. Not regretting it.

Jack Rabbit and Other Love Songs - Bill PassalacquaBill is a great guy, currently on the (never-ending) road with Fred Eaglesmith. I had the pleasure of picking and grinning around a couple of late night fires with him. Funny songs, sad songs, and some nice licks from his talented family band on this record!

Gypsy Hotel Volume 1 - Bourbon Soaked Snake Charmin' Rock'n'Roll Cabaret.
Yes, it came to my attention by way of talk on this forum about the Spider Stacy track ("Satan Your Kingdom Must Come Down"), but dang it's a fine compilation if you like that kind of thing, as i supect many on this page do. Other highlights include Urban Voodoo Machines "Plenty More Room", Nigel Burch And The Flea-Pit Orchestra "Pub with No Name',, .... actually, it's mostly all highlights. just get it, you won't be disapointed. If there is a "genre' in which the Pogues could fit, this is it. Somewhere between punk, folk, and world. And in this case, a healthy dose of cabaret.
