This brings me pretty darn close to a full completion of all things Pogues(related) vinyl collection, which has been lifelong labor of love. Can't wait to hear them raindrops!
And, today, a 10" vinyl, 4-track Crock of Gold promo, entitled, More Songs ABout Drinking and Thinking.
If anyone has any rare Pogues/related VINYL to sell, please PM me. Thanks!

Pencaitland, by the Southern Tenant Folk Union, a multi-instrumental collective of musicians from Edinburgh, some of whose songs have taken up residence in my head currently. Some nifty bluegrass-y banjo and fiddle in there.

A big glorious rumble between Ennis, Co Clare neo-ceili and Appalachian claw hammer, and a complete delight from start to finish. The melodeon, fiddle, banjo and piano of Brock Maguire brushes up against the America counterpart stylings of Ricky Scaggs, Jeff Taylor and friends in various inspired configurations recorded chez Scaggs in Tennessee.
Might be tricky to track down in record stores, but I got mine from Claddagh Records mail order in Dublin.

DJ Fontana & Scotty Moore - All The Kings Men
Famously Elvis' drummer & guitarist in the early years, this is the backing band that helped him invent Rock 'n Roll. On this album they're the stars, joined by different guests on every tune. On first listen, the highlight is Deuce & a Quarter with Keith Richards & The Band - Levon Helm swaps versus with Richards, and Rick Danko shows why he was the best singer ever: he harmonizes with Richards. The Mavericks are here, Cheap Trick, Steve Earle, and even a reunion of the band formed by Elvis' late bassist, Bill Black. Not every track was a winner, as usual in these mixed offerings, but overall it's a winner.
