1) DIG LAZURUS, DIG!!!! (UK vinyl + limited edition cd + booklet) - Nick Cave
"We're gonna have a real cool time tonite!"
This album rocks!!!!!!

2) I'LL BE LIGHTING (limited edition vinyl + cd) - Liam Finn
WOW!!!!
This was playing in the record store and I decided to buy it before I knew who/what it was.
:!:

3) MR. LOVE & JUSTICE (UK vinyl) - Billy Bragg
Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet because I can't stop listening to the new Nick Cave and Liam Finn
8)
As simple as a kettle, steady as a rock.

Make It Through This World - Greg Trooper. I've loved every CD he's put out, but I slacked off and never got around to getting this one when it came out a couple years ago.

The V-Roys - Just Add Ice. Scott Miller & the Commonwealth have put out some great records, so I finally picked up the one CD by his former band that I didn't already have. Amazon Marketplace is a great thing.

'Dance While You May' by Wayward.

An Australian band of medieval recreationists. European folk music from the 11th century and on. Fantastic stuff.

Verdict, Clash? Amazon say it's released 12 May over here.

Well, I have only listened to the first 4 songs and do like them very much. 3 of the songs on this release have been played live for over a year now so I already knew them very well. I gave a copy of this CD to my friend Doc Harry, who I have mentioned here before. Harry listened to the complete CD and raved that it was McMurtry's best work to date.

Thanks, Clash. I shall put it on pre-order. I seem to have a lot of stuff on pre-order currently...

Seems like a lot of music gets released at this time of year...

Thanks for that. I didn't even check out that topic, but now I shall try to buy using the affiliate links. Perhaps I should cancel the Box Set and reorder with the link??

Every purchase of The Box Set through the Affiliate Links feeds a family of six for one month. We wills end you photos of your adopted family.

Or it pays for our listing raft's hosting costs for about three days.

I trust that you'll do the Right Thing and not make the baby Medusa cry.

(Incidentally, anything bought through Amazon by following one of those affiliate links gets a little lucre thrown my way. One of those Kindle thingers? They're pushing those bad boys hard. Buy one of those and I get $40. So ... ummm ... buy a Kindle too?)

OK, done. But not a Kindle. I like books, their form and content. So, sorry boss, this will have to do for now. But I use Amazon a lot, so hopefully a few more pennies will drift your way now and again.
